Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style as The Cinema Snob, but she tends to obsessively watching dumb action films. After earning some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The website remained online until the early days of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel. Both focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The first time she was a reviewer was the middle of 2009. She gained a lot in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. The actress was part in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also be seen on numerous episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
