Lynda Carter is an American actress and singer best known for portraying Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series of the similar name. Her appearances have been in a range of shows and films during her professional career, and is now the most popular pop icon. Lynda's long professional career as an actor has been complemented by her performing and producing in a variety of highly-rated CBS network television specials, some of which have received Emmy Award nominations. Giacomo began the acting profession at the age of 16 in New York, where she appeared on stage and earned praise from the audience.
